Lili Beneda has been an associate of the firm since 2007. Lili's practice
encompasses all aspects of aviation, litigation, and appeals. Lili has practiced complex
commercial litigation, maritime law, environmental law (with respect to marine pollution),
and transportation law. Lili has had experience litigating claims governed by the Warsaw Convention,
the Carriage of Goods by Sea Act, and the Carmack Amendment. She has handled litigation matters in
the State and Federal courts of New York and New Jersey as well as disputes in arbitration.
Lili is admitted to the bars of New York (2005), New Jersey (2005) and Florida (2006). She is also
admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York (2005), the
U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey (2005) and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals
(2008).
She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maritime Law Association, Women in
International Shipping and Trade Association (WISTA), and the Dartmouth Lawyers Association. Lili
graduated from Tulane Law School (J.D., 2004)(Honors: Maritime Law Certificate) and Dartmouth
College (B.A., 2001).
