Scott D. Cunningham joined Condon &
Forsyth LLP in 1998 and is a partner of the firm. Scott has extensive experience representing
international air carriers, aircraft manufacturers, and their insurers in complex litigation in
California and in various other jurisdictions throughout the U.S. He has been directly involved
in the defense of several major air disaster cases, complex commercial litigation involving
international air carriers, and the DVT Multidistrict litigation pending in California. Scott
has been closely involved in the defense of the IATA air carriers for the alleged violations of
the California Health and Safety Code which is commonly known as the "Proposition 65" litigation.
Scott was honorably selected in 2007
and 2008 a Southern California Super Lawyer - Rising Star.
He is admitted to the bar of California (1999), the U.S. District Courts for the Central,
Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.
Scott was also admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court in 2003.
Scott is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the American Bar Association
(Editorial Board member 2005-present for the ABA Aviation Law Quarterly),
the State Bar of California and the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy
Graduate (2005). He is a graduate of Syracuse University (J.D., 1998) and the
University of Rochester (B.A., 1994).
