Marissa N. Lefland joined the firm as an associate in 2009. Marissa’s practice encompasses all aspects of
commercial and civil litigation, including international and domestic aviation matters, products liability,
administrative law, and employment law.
Marissa is admitted to the bars of New York (2009) and New Jersey (2009), the U.S. District Court for the
Southern and Eastern Districts of New York (2010) and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey (2011).
She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Association
of the Bar of the City of New York and the New York Women's Bar Association.
Marissa is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School (J.D., 2009), where she was President of the Moot Court Honor
Society. She placed second at the University of Puerto Rico Invitational Criminal Trial Advocacy Competition
and was a quarter-finalist at the Texas Young Lawyer’s Association National Trial Competition. Marissa also served
as a judicial intern to the Honorable Kevin N. Fox, United States Magistrate Judge, Southern District of New York.
She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park (B.A., cum laude, 2005).
