> Justin M. Schmidt
Justin M. Schmidt joined Condon & Forsyth LLP in 2008 and
concentrates his practice on airline liability claims and litigation. He has worked on several major
aviation disaster cases, including American Airlines Flight 587, the September 11, 2001 terrorist
attacks and Colgan Air Flight 3407. He also has been involved in several military product liability
accident cases involving the government contractor defense.
He was a United States Marine Corps Officer from 2001 through 2005. Justin was stationed
with the Marine Air Wing in Okinawa, Japan as an Aircraft Logistics Officer, and was then
stationed at Camp Pendleton, California with a Marine Infantry Battalion as an Infantry Logistics
Officer. He also served a seven month combat tour in Fallujah, Iraq.
Justin is admitted to the bars of New York (2009) and New Jersey (2008), and the U.S. District
Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York (2010).
Justin is a graduate of Rutgers University School of Law (J.D., 2008) (Managing
Editor, Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal; Winner of the 2007 Nathan
Baker Moot Court Trial Competition; Member, Rutgers National Moot Court Team;
Recipient, Hudson County Bar Foundation
Scholarship). He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan (2001).
