Marshall S. Turner joined Condon & Forsyth LLP in 1972. He is a partner and a member
of the firm's Management Committee.
Marshall has concentrated
his practice on product liability and aviation litigation, including the defense of
manufacturers, airlines and distributors
of products ranging from aircraft and military equipment to power plants and computers.
He also has extensive experience in defending a variety of types of companies against asbestos
related claims. Marshall has lectured at aviation and insurance seminars
and has been a faculty member at the National Trial Academy of the International Association of
Defense Counsel. He has published numerous articles on various aspects of product liability law,
aviation and trial technique. He has been extensively involved in the firm's utilization of
computer technology in litigation.
Marshall is admitted to the bar of New York (1973), the U.S. District Court, Southern and
Eastern Districts of New York, the U.S. Courts of Appeals, Fourth,
Fifth and Ninth Circuits and the U.S. Supreme Court (1992). He is a member of
The Association of the Bar of the City
of New York (Member, Aeronautical Committee), the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar
Association (Chair, Commercial Transportation Litigation Committee; Member, Steering Committee -
Tort and Trial Practice), the National Transportation Safety Board Bar Association and
the Transportation Lawyers Association (Chair, Aviation Committee).
Marshall is a graduate of
Fordham University (J.D., 1972) and Queens College (B.A., 1968).
